individual therapy
I recognize how difficult it can be to reach out for support. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, or other personal challenges, it's completely normal to feel a mix of emotions when considering therapy. You may feel hopeful, uncertain, overwhelmed, or unsure whether therapy can help. These feelings are valid and are often part of taking the first step toward change.
Life experiences can shape the way we see ourselves, connect with others, and make sense of the world around us. At times, these challenges can leave you feeling isolated or disconnected from the person you want to be. In our work together, I prioritize creating a space where you can feel safe, understood, and respected. You won't have to navigate these difficulties alone. My goal is to walk alongside you as we explore your experiences, draw upon your strengths, and work toward meaningful and lasting change.
Relational Therapy
Relationships can be complex and at times feel overwhelming, especially when communication begins to break down or when life stressors place strain on both partners. It’s common to feel stuck, disconnected, or frustrated in these moments, and many couples seek therapy as a way to better understand one another, rebuild connection, and strengthen their relationship over time.
In our work together, I take a collaborative and structured approach to supporting your relationship. We focus on strengthening communication, deepening emotional awareness, and developing more effective ways of navigating conflict and repair. Many couples also seek support around specific concerns such as trust repair after ruptures, rebuilding intimacy, or preparing for long-term commitment through premarital counseling. These moments can be opportunities to better understand relational patterns and create more intentional ways of being with one another.
Clinical supervision
I provide supervision for emerging therapists who want to deepen their clinical skills and develop a thoughtful, authentic approach to practice. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, relational, and narrative frameworks, helping therapists understand how life experiences, relationships, culture, and systemic influences shape the stories clients hold about themselves and their lives.
Whether you are building confidence in your clinical voice, navigating complex cases, or refining your theoretical orientation, supervision offers a supportive space for reflection and professional growth. I encourage curiosity, self-awareness, and critical thinking while helping therapists strengthen their ability to provide compassionate, ethical, and effective care.
professional training & speaking
Whether working with clinicians, students, healthcare professionals, educators, faith communities, or nonprofit organizations, I provide engaging presentations and trainings that bridge research, clinical practice, and lived experience. My goal is to create learning experiences that are thoughtful, practical, and responsive to the unique needs of each audience.
Drawing from my experience as a licensed clinical social worker, clinical supervisor, educator, and researcher, I offer presentations that explore the intersections of mental health, culture, identity, relationships, and social context. Trainings are tailored to the goals of your organization and can range from introductory workshops to more advanced clinical and professional development topics.
